Docklow Manor is a splendid early Victorian manor house with a pair of adjacent holiday cottages, which have been carefully and tastefully refurbished by the owners, Jane and Brian Viner. This is a truly idyllic part of the country, and Docklow Manor is beautifully situated to make the most of the wonderful views. Guests are welcome to explore our rambling gardens, grounds and woodlands, which look out over miles of unspoilt Herefordshire countryside towards Wales and the Black Mountains.
The cottages are full of period charm, and both of them have wood-burning stoves. The emphasis is very much on comfort, and the cottages are well equipped to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The kitchens, living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms have been thoughtfully furnished and equipped, and there are books, games and videos in each cottage. Freshly cut flowers and a welcome hamper of local products greet each new arrival. A delicious home-cooked dinner can be supplied to your cottage at a small extra cost.
Manor Cottage sleeps 2 – 3 people and Yewtree Cottage sleeps 4 – 5. Our visitors’ books have been signed by the many happy customers we have already had the pleasure of meeting, and we look forward to welcoming you to Docklow Manor.
